1954 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1
I'd been looking for another big Healey ever since I lost my 3000 in a fire. I just couldn't find the right one. But now I have.
I found this car in the northeast and made the deal quickly. This car is exactly what I'd been looking for. She's a two-owner beauty with less than 1,000 miles on her since undergoing an extensive restoration. She's matching numbers and fully documented with an interesting history. She was successfully club-raced in the 1950's and 60's and has some very cool, period-correct upgrades including a dealer-installed 100M LeMans performance kit. The car has also been converted to a later BN2 4-speed transmission.
I'm a Porsche guy at heart. Probably always will be. But, I'll admit it, if I was married to a Porsche, it'd be a Healey that I'd choose for my mistress.
