1974 Porsche 911
So, a couple years back I went to Hershey for the annual PCA Swap Meet for the first time. Something I'd always wanted to do. They had kickass souvenir t-shirts for sale.
I bought a car instead.
I hadn't 100% planned on buying a car. But I'd wanted to attend Hershey for years and I certainly wasn't against buying something if the opportunity presented itself.
And it did.
I'd been considering a 2.7 car. And if I was going to buy a 2.7, I'd have to have a 1974 model year. These cars were made from 74 to 77 but the 1974 cars are much more desirable because they don't suffer from the plethora of emissions equipment that the later cars suffer from.
The only other requirement was that I wanted something unique. Maybe a rare color. I already have a red 911. And a black one. And silver, and blue and a couple orange ones. It'd be great to find something really different.
Like Ice Green Metallic. I'm a very lucky guy.
