1965 Porsche 356C
I can't believe I bought a 356 coupe. Wasn't it just a few years ago that you could buy every one of these on the planet for a few bucks and a case of beer? Remember when literally nobody wanted these?
And now here I am. I love these cars. Funny what happens when you get older. I may not be able to pull three all-nighters in a row any more, but my taste in cars sure is getting better.
This matching numbers 356C was the subject of a complete restoration in 2008. At that time the engine was rebuilt with new pistons, rings, crank, bearings, rods, a 1730cc big bore kit and a full flow oil filter.
What did I ever have against these cars? Was I mad? I mean, I remember that I voted democrat once but I always just chalked that up to the stupidity of youth. I really need to figure some things out.
