1971 Porsche 911E
This is the one I'd been waiting for.

I'd wanted a 911E for awhile. I saw some good ones and came close to pulling the trigger a couple of times but something always held me back. Turns out, the 911E of my dreams was out there waiting for me.

What you're looking at is perhaps the finest 911E in the world - a one-owner, highly documented, 48k-mile car still wearing it's original coat of stunning Conda Green paint.

This car was purchased new from Vasek Polak in Hermosa Beach on January 11, 1971 by a husband and wife team of nuclear physicists who lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay area. The car remained under their meticulous ownership until late 2013 when the original owners, now in their seventies, decided to sell it to help finance their new winery. The car came to me with every service record since new and a full set of California registrations dating back to 1971.

If you're a collector, you know that cars like this are the holy grail of automobile collecting. If you're not a collector, you probably don't care and just want to drive the hell out of the thing - and I'm with you.

And here's a little piece of solid gold. A video that was shot of the original owners telling the story of the car. If you're as into vintage Porsches as I am, it just doesn't get any better than this.
