1985 Audi Ur-Quattro

What can I say? If you remember this car, you're definitely a car guy.

I came across this car on my favorite car site, Bring a Trailer, and I knew instantly that she was mine. I have a weakness for 80's rally-style cars (witness my BMW M3, my VW Scirocco and my Isuzu Impulse) and I'd lusted after the original Quattros since I was a teenager. This car seemed like a particular find - an original-paint car with only 83k miles since new. Plus, it was an '85, finished in one of the best colors, and located just down the road in Houston. 

And now, she's making her home here in Austin. Doesn't get much better than that.​​
